This fallow deer antler lamp is the work of a skillful artisan who only uses natural shed genuine antlers. Each one of our genuine antlers light is unique. The base combines mule and fallow deer antlers making this table lamp functional and artistic. Despite being mostly associated with rustic cabin or log home decor, an antler lamp is also an excellent addition to a sleek modern home or a farmhouse. These are real antlers, not cast resin material. The lamp comes with a rawhide shade and uses a regular 60-watt bulb and has a pull switch.
FALLOW DEER ANTLER LAMP
Fallow deer grow antlers that are flat and similar to moose. Relative to their body size, the antlers are the largest of all the deer. Only bucks grow antlers. For the first three years, the antlers will be single spikes. The palmate antlers only appear when the buck reaches 4 years. Deer shed their antlers annually at the end of the mating season. They will start growing new antlers each April or May.
