Description
The rustic redwood burl mirror design features live edge wood slabs milled from salvaged logs and tree stumps harvested from the forest floor. A burl’s an abnormality caused by fungal, viral, insect, or environmental, but whatever the cause burl wood is rare.
This live edge mirror design is fully customizable as to size, but the wood grain and live edge movement vary. Like all of our natural live edge furniture, we use wood species native to the United States, such as;
- Redwood burl
- Maple burl
- American black walnut
- Cypress
- Cedar
- Claro walnut
- Juniper
- Oak
Along with many others. Handcrafted and ships from the manufacturer in Nashville, TN. Each rustic mirror’s one-of-a-kind and available in custom sizes. Custom orders are quoted as to price and lead time.
Our burl wood and natural wood material are ethically sourced through selective harvesting, dead-standing tree, and the salvage of logs and tree stumps on the forest floor. Along with this, we also air-dry our natural wood, thus assuring quality.
A 100% natural hardwax finish protects the wood. It repels wine, water, soda, and more and is scratch and stain-resistant.
