Description

Our wood knife scales are sold in 4 sets of 2 scales. The figure in the blanks may have curls, burls, or quilting. Some maple blanks may present spalting.

The wood is native to the US and ethically sourced.  The knife scales are air-dried and ready to use.

The scales are rough cut, meaning we do not surface or sand them.

The length, width, and thickness of the blanks vary. The scales are approximately 6 in x 2 to 2.5 in x 0.375 to 0.5 in.

The species we offer are:

  • maple,
  • walnut,
  • oak,
  • redwood,
  • and some specialty wood.

You can choose a mixed box or sets of a specific species.

These blanks are also ideal as craft wood for all kinds of DIY projects like inlay or jewelry.
